Sonny organizes a walk-a-thon to benefit reading and gets Tawni to donate skinny pants for everyone to wear. Chad creates a walk-a-thon against reading, but things don't go quite as planned when everyone starts dropping like flies due to SPS, or Skinny Pants Syndrome

Sonny and Tawni are invited on an exchange program to Glendovia because of their Check-it-Out Girls sketch, but refuse to go together because they are mad at each other. Meanwhile, an exchange student impresses a girl Nico and Grady like, and they both think it is because of his mustache.

Feeling that Gassie doesn't get the affection that he deserves, Sonny decides to show the dog love. Meanwhile, Nico and Grady borrow money from Dakota Condor to invest in fart noise lunch boxes for "Gassie & We".

The So Random castmembers and Marshall are shocked that Sonny can sing.

Sonny and her fellow cast members are all forced to attend a public high school after they run afoul of Dakota Condor again, and are fired from the show.

A monster story told by Miss Bitterman seems to come to life.

Tawni tries to ban gum from the set.

When Grace, an elderly woman, wins the "Be So Random for a Day" contest, the "So Random!" cast ends up planning an "old geezer" sketch that not only offends Grace and her entire retirement home, but all elderly people. After an on-air apology makes things worse, Grace and her friends turn the tables and play a practical joke on the cast. Meanwhile, Chad attempts to help a group of kids with their fear of clowns and ends up looking like one himself.

When Grady's older brother teases Grady and makes him feel bad because he doesn't have a girlfriend, Sonny pretends to be his lady. But Grady's big bro visits, and the pair have to make things look more authentic.

After Sonny starts watching Mackenzie Falls, Chad ask Sonny out on a date, which she accepts. Then she begins to have second thoughts when she realizes how her castmates will react.

Chad and Sonny continue their relationship, but trouble ensues when Tawni and Chad are named the studio's hottest couple.

Sonny is asked to leave the show after rumors spread that she is a thief. She and Tawni then drive across the country back to Sonny's hometown in Wisconsin.

Sonny finds out that the studio head, Mr. Condor, has brought the show "Pauly the Polar Bear's Playroom," to shoot on the lot. The show happens to be Sonny's favorite childhood show, so she introduces her self to her beloved Pauly. However, the guy who plays Pauly quits and makes Sonny wear the costume and pretend to be Pauly. Trapped in the Pauly costume meeting kids, she must convince the man who played Pauly to continue his career for the sake of his inspired fans. Meanwhile, it is Sonny and Chad's seven week aniversary as a couple, but Sonny can't make the date due to being Pauly. Nico and Grady take advantage and tell Chad that Sony may be losing interest, only so they can get him to join their video gamer's group.

Chad announces that he is the new host of a celebrity prank show, causing the So Random! cast to become paranoid about who is going to be pranked, and which of their co-stars is in on the joke with Chad.

Chad agrees to fill in for Sonny when she gets sick. However, he finds its hard to do Sonny's job.

Sonny finds out that Chad has his doppelganger stunt double go on any dates in which Chad assumes are too dangerous.

Sonny is asked to leave the show after rumors spread that she is a thief. She and Tawni then drive across the country back to Sonny's hometown in Wisconsin.

Sonny sets Zora up with the child actor who plays the young Makenzie in Makenzie Falls flashbacks. Meanwhile, Dakota Condor star in the film of Nico and Grady for a cell phone film festival.

Dakota Condor is bent on revenge when Tawni accidentally runs over Dakota's bicycle. Desperate to protect themselves, Sonny and Tawni recruit the kooky, goofy, featherbrained So Random! propmaster, Izzy, to assist them.

After Tawni taunts Sonny about not having her first kiss with Chad and tells Chad that Sonny wants to kiss him, both become extremely nervous around each other.

The cast of So Random! and Chad get trapped in snow, ruining their plans for going home for Christmas vacation. From Sonny's house, the gang does a Christmas Holiday Special to pass time, with chad hosting the jolly sketch episod

Grady's older brother Grant makes another visit into town just when Grady was about to spend some alone time alone while the other cast members are on vacation, except for Tawni. Chad is fired from "Mackenzie Falls" with Grant being as the new Mackenzie.

Marshall is frustrated by the cast's unfunny sketch ideas with the cast later making a video making fun of him. Marshall sees the video realizing how mean he was and decides to quit "So Random" to pursue his own acting career with a one-man play entitled "My Life with Ma". So Random! sketch: Two sketches related to the Japanese herb Wasabi including the game show "Where the Wasabi" and a Wasabi pubic service announcement featuring Grady.

Once again "So Random!" and "Mackenzie Falls" are nominated for "Best Tween Show" in the Tween Choice Awards but this time "So Random!" wins and Chad gets really jealous. He then tells Sonny that he had the votes recounted meaning that "Mackenzie Falls" actually won. Sonny is then upset by this and breaks up with Chad. Meanwhile, Nico steals Grady's joke at the award show.

Sonny writes a song about Chad after breaking up with him, But has hard time performing it, still being stuck on her feelings for him. Meanwhile, Grady develops a crush on Mel, a waitress at the Random's new hangout "The Patio", coincidentally she is also Sonny's new neighbor.
